Barry County Sheriff "Angel Tree" Program Begins

"Angel Tree" Program has started at Barry County Sheriff's Office

The Barry County Sheriff's Office is once again sponsoring its "Angel Tree" Program. The "Angel Tree" program was started 7 years ago to provide toys and gifts for needy children in Barry County. Over the past 7 years, the public has responded generously to this cause. Anyone wanting to adopt a child or a family can contact the Barry County Sheriff's Office at 417-847-6556 or they can stop by the office Monday thru Friday 8 am to 4pm to adopt a child. Sheriff Epperly would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who adopt the children and donate the toys that are distributed. We hope that this year will be as big of a success as prior years. All applicants for the "Angel Tree" must meet certain guidelines. The Barry County Sheriff's Office will accept applications until November 28th.
