 2 Arrested for Cooking Meth

The Seligman Police Department received information regarding meth possibly being cooked at a residence located on East Roller Ridge Road.  The information was passed along to the Southwest Missouri Drug Task Force.  Acting on the information, the Task Force was able to obtain a search warrant for a residence located at 7783 E. Roller Ridge Seligman, MO.  At approximately 7:00 pm on Tuesday August 20, 2013, Sheriff Mick Epperly along with members of the Southwest Missouri Drug Task Force and the Barry County Sheriff’s Office Swat Team executed the Search Warrant.  Upon entry, officers located all the components for cooking methamphetamines.  Three Children ranging in age from 14 months to 5 years was also located in the residence.  They were turned over to another family member until DFS could take custody of the children the next day.  Arrested at the home was 35 year old Jeremy Wayne Rusher and 31 year old Charlotte Mae Frazier.  Information was given that Jeremy Rusher was cooking meth in the back after the children would go to sleep, Both Rusher and Frazier were arrested and have been charged with 1 count of Chemical Possession with intent to manufacture, 1 count of possession of a controlled substance and 3 counts of endangering the welfare of a child bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety each.  Frazier has bonded and Rusher still remains in custody at the Barry County Jail.
